Examinations

The Exams & Awards Team manages the University's exam processes and operations. We compile and publish the exam timetables, train and appoint invigilators, produce pass lists and are responsible for the administration of exam papers.

We also provide support for exam candidates with alternative arrangements and candidates taking resits or deferred attempts at overseas locations. 

In addition, the Exams & Awards Team are responsible for the production of official documents and for the verification of awards.

Congregations

Congregation (i.e. graduation) ceremonies are the culmination of all your hard work during your time at Newcastle University. They are a chance to for you to celebrate your achievements with your family and friends as well as the whole Newcastle University community.
