Pay Award 2018

UCEA , representing 147 participating HE employers, have made the final pay offer for 2018 guaranteeing an increase in base pay of all staff of at least 2%. Staff on pay points 1-14 will receive an increase of 2.8% which will bring the lowest pay level for staff within the University to £8.36 per hour.
The total value of the increase will be 3.5% when taken together with incremental progression increases. This compares favourably to increases in other similar sectors and demonstrates the continued investment in our highly valued staff.
