Staff Profile

Dr Eve Forrest

ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Impact Officer

Background

I manage the ESRC Impact Accelerator Account, which is an investment made by the ESRC to help increase the impact of, and engagement with, social science. I offer help and advice to potential applicants and I am the main point of contact for all current award holders. There are quite a few of them - we funded over 120 projects in the last 4 years! I also help plan capacity building  workshops and training to help upskill researchers in social sciences and beyond.  There is also an ESRC IAA investment in Durham so we frequently collaborate with colleagues there and with the EPSRC IAA in SAgE too. I work with Angie Scott on the Impact team in HaSS and will be feeding into REF and other related activities and funding schemes in the course of time. More recently I have also been working with the Funding Development team in HaSS on Pathways to Impact (PtI) helping develop statements on future projects.  Please get in touch if you would like to discuss ideas or have any questions about impact!
