Newcastle University Teaching Excellence Recognised

Two recent surveys place Anatomy and Physiology teaching at Newcastle University in the top ten in the UK.

The National Student Survey 2018 has placed Anatomy and Physiology teaching at Newcastle University in first place of UK universities with an overall student satisfaction score of 100%. 

In addition, the Telegraph Complete University Guide lists Newcastle University in the top ten UK universities to study Anatomy and Physiology with the second highest ratings for Student Satisfaction and Research Quality (link).

Institute of Genetic Medicine scientists, in conjunction with colleagues across the Faculty of Medical Sciences, deliver taught components on this course and also contribute to the supervision of undergraduate final year research projects.

Institute Director Professor Joris Veltman says "These results are an encouraging reflection that the hard work of Newcastle University scientists to deliver high quality, research-informed teaching is appreciated by our students."
