Dr Mehdi Javanbakht
Senior Research Associate
Mehdi completed his Ph.D. program in Health Economics in 2013, then he joined Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at the University of Aberdeen. He worked in HERU until January 2016 as a research fellow and data analyst and modeler. He was also involved in the appraisal of HTA submissions to the NICE Technology Appraisal Committee. Mehdi is currently working as a senior research associate at Newcastle University, working on several projects including; TAGS, ESTER, PASTA, and OPTIMISM. Before joining Newcastle University he worked in a multinational life sciences consulting firm in London as a senior consultant.
