About the course:

This module contains both a continuation from semester one in:

  • an introduction to academic writing
  • presentation skills relating to presenting a project, the writing of which is also examined in this semester

There is also a lesson in week 6 reviewing the semester one topics. It focuses on:

  • achieving flow in academic writing through cohesive devices
  • different text organisation structures
  • writing introductions and summarising
