Taking a genre approach, this course provides insights into how to produce academic and business texts that meet the requirements of their intended audience.

The course:

  • establishes the general requirements of academic writing at a postgraduate level 
  • provides the specific requirements of important business text types.
  • also guides on the important individual skills needed to construct academic and business texts

Students are given the opportunity to practice and apply these skills to their own assignments during and after class.
