This module guides you through the process of writing one of your first assignments on your degree Programme. It focuses on how:

  • analysing the meaning of the assignment title
  • planning the structure of an essay
  • outlining methods of integrating sources
  • developing techniques and strategies to avoid plagiarism.
  • providing input on a number of common rhetorical functions which are frequently used in academic writing
