About the course:

This module provides an introduction to academic writing in English for all Humanities and Social Science students.

It takes a style/genre approach, by looking at aspects such as:

  • academic writing for HASS
  • using sources
  • critical evaluation writing

The materials have been written to help students gain a greater understanding of academic writing style as a core running through a number of academic writing components.
