Update: Access to University IT services - 23 October 2020

Recent Service Restorations

​A list of recently restored services can be viewed on the IT Service NUconnect website (last update 23/10/20)

This page will continue to be updated as services become available.

Please be aware: IT services that are operating may need to be taken down without notice. Other systems may be accessible, but this should not be taken as service being guaranteed, the functionality may be reduced or access may cease at any time.​

The following services continue to be available:
  • Office365 (https://office365.ncl.ac.uk)
    • Your email
    • Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Teams
  • SAP core services through desktop SAP client – web interfaces are not available
  • Canvas virtual learning environment (https://canvas.ncl.ac.uk)
  • Zoom

The Windows Virtual Desktop service (WVD) and University filestore (H: drive and shared filestore) are also confirmed as available to use.​
