The Citrix Receiver client we provide for Mac is compatabile with version 10.11 (El Capitan) and later. Citrix provide a client for users on 10.9 (Mavericks) / 10.10 (Yosemite) available here.  If you are using an earlier version, you will need to uninstall any Citrix clients already installed, then connect using the HTML5 client.
