Customer Service Excellence

We've been awarded the prestigious Customer Service Excellence award.

This is a national government award. It recognises customer service excellence in public services.

It evaluates five main criteria:

  • customer insight
  • the culture of the organisation
  • information and access
  • delivery
  • timeliness and quality of service

How we were assessed

These criteria were reviewed by an external assessor. They then visited the Language Resource Centre to conduct interviews with a range of stakeholders:

  • staff
  • students
  • external partners
  • library staff

Some interviews were arranged. Some were based on randomly talking to users within the Centre.
