The LRC continues to expand on its remote provision!

The LRC continues to provide resources and activities online and is looking to expand and develop its range of resources and opportunities - including an earlier re-start date for the Peer Assisted Learning programme, new e-Tandem opportunities set to be announced shortly, and much more!

  • Provision of remote access to language learning software resources such as Transparent Languages, Sanako Pronounce Live, Clarity English. Check out the Distance & Online Learning section of our website. Recommend and request resources here.
  • World TV & Film (IPTV) – on-demand video streaming platform with 8000+ films, TV programmes and documentaries in over 100 languages - available from anywhere in the world!
  • The Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) programme will restart with some sessions from the 18th of January, more sessions and languages are set to be added and currently scheduled sessions can be booked here.
  • e-Tandem partnership opportunities for semester 2 will be announced via Canvas.
  • The Online Tandem Board is active and a great place to find a language practice partner at NU, or, if you just want to share your languages with others – request access here.
