Visiting researchers

Visiting researchers

We welcome interest in visiting Newcastle Law School as a Visiting Researcher, both from Post Graduate Research Students and Academic Staff.

You would be based at Newcastle Law School for a period from a month to 12 months. We would offer a workspace, access to library and IT facilities, and affiliate membership to the relevant research groupings for the duration of your visit. You will also be able to participate in the school research community including seminars.

We recommend that you identify a proposed academic host and discuss your proposal prior to applying, to ensure you are well supported during your visit.

Expression of Interest

You can express your interest in being a visiting researcher by completing the expression of interest form.

Supported applicants will still need to complete the University’s visiting researcher documentation for formal nomination and the Law School will contact applicants to coordinate this.

If you have any questions about the expression of interest form, please contact Helen Hampson, Research Impact and Engagement Coordinator.
