Where: Tutorials are offered in our offices in the Philip Robinson Library and are by appointment only. The Philip Robinson Library is the main campus library. The Writing Development Centre’s office is on Level 2 (entrance level), close to the computer cluster.

When: Tutorials are available between 9-5, Monday to Friday. (last appointment at 4pm). We are open throughout the vacations and the summer. We are however closed during University Closure Periods, which include Bank Holidays and over Christmas, New Year and Easter.

How: Tutorial appointments are booked online via our booking form only. If you need to cancel an appointment, please email us so we can offer the tutorial to another student.

Workshops and other activities

Where and when:

Most of our workshop teaching is embedded in modules and courses  - we do not run a programme of generic classes. From time to time, we run one-off workshops and other activities such as Writers' Groups for students across the university, which are advertised on our website.

How: Please book a place using the online booking form which will be available on the page of each activity.
