Adult Language Disorders Research Group

The Adult Language Disorders Research Group is a group of academics, speech and language therapists and postgraduate researchers interested in acquired language disorders.

We are interested in the assessment of and therapy for aphasia and what disorders of language can reveal about normal language processing.

The group normally meets on a monthly basis and the agenda is driven by the participants. The overall purpose of the group is to provide support for the research activities of the members.

This is achieved through:

  • presenting ongoing research
  • presenting proposals for future research projects
  • exploring data
  • discussing papers
