Dr Tana Licsandru

Background

Tana Licsandru (PhD, MA, BSc, AFHEA) is a Lecturer in Marketing at Newcastle University London. Tana holds a PhD in Business and Management (Marketing) from Alliance Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester, a Masters degree in Marketing, Advertising and PR from the University of Sheffield and a BSc in Communication Science. Prior to joining Newcastle University London, Tana worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Alliance Manchester Business School and as a marketing specialist in the hospitality industry and non-governmental  sector.   

Tana's main research interests lie in the broad areas of international marketing and consumer behaviour, with particular focus on multicultural consumers, ethnic marketing communications and consumers' social inclusion in diverse marketplaces. Her recent work on inclusive marketing communications has been published in the Journal of Business Research and presented at various international conferences.
