Prices are valid for all bookings confirmed and paid for after 01 January 2017, until further notice.
The block accommodation fees for Scape East do not include the cost of meal plans, which are available on a half-board basis for £80 per week.
Students on programmes of study lasting more than one year should be aware that accommodation fees are subject to annual revision and typically increase by up to 5% per annum. Accommodation fees are set by the provider. We give students as much notice as possible of any increases.
The prices listed for Pre-sessional English courses are for guidance only. For further information email email@example.com.
Your accommodation contract
Students on degree or university preparation programmes in private residences will normally begin their contract on the Saturday before your course start date. The contract will cover the duration of the first day of your course.
All contracts include the Christmas and Easter holiday periods. This enables you to leave your possessions in your room during university holiday periods.
For students on English courses, the fees for both residential and homestay accommodation cover tuition periods only. If your course or study plan spans a vacation period, the accommodation must be paid for during the vacation period as well.
Homestay accommodation is only available during vacations at special request and is not guaranteed. A supplement may be payable over the two-week Christmas period. If you wish to leave your belongings with the host family during a vacation period, the full weekly amount will be payable. Please enquire at firstname.lastname@example.org for information regarding the availability of residential accommodation for under 18 students.
How to pay
Students or parents must pay all accommodation fees in full by cheque, banker's draft, bank transfer or credit or debit card, six weeks before the course starts. They must make the payment in pounds sterling.
International student guarantee
If you are an international student studying a degree, we guarantee accommodation for the first year of your course. This is providing you have accepted our offer for a place at the university, applied for accommodation and confirmed your preference before 31 July.
Code of conduct
For many students, university is the first time they have lived independently. We expect students to be considerate towards their neighbours. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action and, in serious incidence, the termination of an accommodation contract.
