London Living

Living in London has made me explore my surroundings and be more adventurous.

Bike riding at night

Taking a bike trip around London at night on the Santander cycles has to be my favourite thing to do.

I usually get a bike from Soho and ride around Trafalgar Square with my friends, taking pictures and visiting the main attractions like the London Eye.

Soho is a great area with lots of vintage shops. It’s also got amazing cafes to get desserts and cakes such as Letos and BubblewrapWaffle. Soho’s also got some great street art, so it’s a really visual place to visit.

Clothes shopping

The West End is a great location for shopping. Oxford Street is the place I tend to visit the most, there are loads of clothing stores like Weekday and Monki which are two of my personal favourites.

It’s also got luxury stores like Selfridges where I sometimes treat myself if I think I’ve deserved it!

Travelling outside London

London transport is so convenient it makes getting around easy.

Its meant I’ve had the opportunity to visit lots of cities outside London whilst I’ve been living here including; Birmingham, Leicester, Loughborough and Reading.

My favourite city so far has been Birmingham. It was really easy to get there, I just took a direct train from London Euston to Birmingham New Street and it only took about an hour.

I stayed with friends and we visited the famous Bull Ring shopping centre and as we visited in the autumn, we got the chance to see the Christmas Street markets and Santa’s Winter Wonderland.

Best bit

What I enjoy most about living in London has to be the fact that you can’t get bored. There is so much to do, so many places to see, loads of shopping destinations and hundreds of places to eat.
