I am an International Business Management master student. I love to make people laugh, help people and make everyone feel at home. At the end of the day, we are all here for one set purpose and that is to succeed and that is what I am all about

*Jasmine graduated from her degree in International Business Management and whilst no longer a current student, is now one of our successful alumni. Her story will still be relevant for many of you thinking of undertaking your studies at Newcastle University London.

Your course

My course is broad. My course welcomes all. My course teaches all. My course appeals to all. My course informs all. My course knows no bounds, creed, age or race, but most importantly, my course is MY course and I am passionate about it. That’s why MSc International Business Management was my first choice!

Choosing Newcastle University London

It’s in the top 20, it’s part of the Russell group, its reputation is breath-taking. What more do you want? Plus, it’s in one of the best cities in the world, in the best possible work location, the fees are student friendly and so are its opportunities and connections. I love that I can just roll out of bed and be there… be in one of the best universities

Highlights so far

I love the people on my course, they’re like my family. We laugh together, we are sad together, we even get angry together. We all understand that in order to be the best we have to mix with the best and help each other because no matter what, we all have a common goal and that is we want to graduate with that FIRST and look back and be proud.

Living in London

I live at home with my parents. Unlike most students, my style of living and cost is very convenient and cheap! Thank goodness.

Being a student in London

For me, very convenient, easy and just a way of life. I am 23 and have studied here since the earliest start of schooling. But, it’s great to see how international students adapt and how they adjust to the changes. That in itself is a learning element for me. It’s like being part of a changing workplace every year.

Top tips for prospective students

Do your research. Newcastle University is right for me, but it might not be right for everyone. However, I can guarantee you serenity and success if you do come! Do not expect to be spoon-fed as a postgraduate student though because that isn’t the universities job, but you will be really well supported.
