The Armstrong Building

As well as supporting enhancement of the University's Learning and Teaching provision, LTDS also provide support for the structures of governance within the University.

We work with University-wide committees such as the University Education Committee (UEC) and the Faculty Education Committees, as well as smaller school-based and subject-based committees, to influence teaching provision across the Institution.

We oversee teaching policies, from admissions to the development of new modules, from the use of postgraduate demonstrators to overseas partnerships.

We are also responsible for internal review processes including Learning and Teaching Reviews (for individual subjects) and student surveys, and supporting the University's engagement with QAA Higher Education Review.
