Biostatistics and stochastic systems biology

The statistics research group has a long-standing track record of outstanding research in biostatistics, stochastic systems biology and more generally, statistics with applications in the biosciences.

The group has particular expertise in the following areas:

  • modelling of time-to-event data and longitudinal data
  • clinical trial design, including cross-over trials and cluster-randomised trials
  • modelling and inference for stochastic systems biology
  • analysis of human limb motion
  • genomics and meta-genomics
