Research Interests
My MRC-funded PhD investigated the profile, course and predictors of cognition in patients with mitochondrial disease. As Research Associate, I first worked on MAGIC III to investigate implementation of shared decision making in real world clinical care, then on PACT-G, which investigated whether the PACT-G social communication intervention improved outcomes in children with severe autism and limited language. I am currently doing research into the mental health impact of sensory processing differences, and the causes and consequences of camouflaging in autistic adults.
My research interests include cognition, adaptive abilities, and predictors of performance in typical and atypical development, with a focus on autism.
