Epigenetics Matters: Public Lecture

Date/Time: 11th April 2018, 14:00 - 15:30

Venue: The Boiler House, King's Road, Newcastle University

Professors Mathers and Mann from Newcastle University present an introduction into the science of epigenetics and explain how it affects life, health and characteristics of offspring. We further illuminate how epigenetics can be manipulated using nutrition.

Epigenetics is the science of control of the genome. It involves a consortium of chemical marks and molecules inside cells which change during development and ageing and determine what organisms look like and can do.

This event is free but registration is required.
