Background
Kayleigh is a Lecturer in Anatomy in the School of Medicine. She delivers anatomy teaching on undergraduate and graduate-entry medical programmes and medical sciences programmes across the faculty.
Kayleigh also has an interest in outreach and widening participation. She is currently the deputy lead for widening participation for Medicine.
Research
Kayleigh has successfully obtained funding for her research from the University Education Development Fund (Responsive Project 2021-22). Project title: ‘Case based curriculum: A holistic understanding of the human body across campuses’.
Teaching
Kayleigh teaches anatomy on undergraduate medical, physicians associates, dental and biomedical sciences programmes.
She is currently the Case 10 (Liver Disease), Case 11 (Upper GI Disorders) and Case 12 (IBD) unit of study lead for both the undergraduate and graduate-entry MBBS programmes.
She is the module leader for the PSC2018 Human Anatomy for Physiologists module on the Physiological Sciences programme.
