Summer Programmes

Summer Programmes

Make the most of your university holiday and gain an international advantage by taking part in a summer programme abroad. You can find a course related to your degree or take the opportunity to try something new.

Summer Programmes 2020

International summer programmes are an opportunity for you to complete a short study placement abroad, typically lasting between one and four weeks. Summer programmes are a great chance for you to discover a new city, create an international network of friends, and gain a new perspective on an academic subject.

Unfortunately the 2020 Summer Programme has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

Applications for the 2021 Summer Programme will open early next year. The programme will differ from 2020, but you can still view our Summer School Brochure 2020 to get an idea of the variety of summer schools we offer.

Students from all degree programmes are eligible to apply, however you must be a registered students at Newcastle University for the duration of the summer school you are applying for.

Newcastle University Business School has a separate summer programme available for NUBS students. If you are a NUBS student, please visit the NUBS Summer Schools website for more information.
