We are delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2016 Flambard Poetry Prize. This year saw a record number of outstanding entries, which our judges, Andrew Forster and Linda France, have managed to whittle down from the hundreds to these seven poets. In alphabetical order the shortlisted poets are:

The first and second place winners will be announced at a prize giving ceremony, featuring readings from Andrew Forster and Linda France, in Newcastle University’s Percy Building on Monday 28^th November 2016 at 6:30pm. More information can be found here.
