We are delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2017 Flambard Poetry Prize. This year saw a record number of outstanding entries, which our judges, Rebecca Goss and Ellen Phethean, have managed to whittle down from the hundreds to these seven poets. In alphabetical order the shortlisted poets are:

Congratulations to all the shortlisted poets! The first and second place winners will be announced at a prize giving ceremony, featuring readings from Rebecca Goss and Ellen Phethean, at Culture Lab, Newcastle University, on Thursday 14^th December at 7:15pm.
