Class Descriptions

Abs Blast: A fun packed 30 minutes designed to tone, build and strengthen the abdominal muscles. Abs Blast uses various skills and techniques to target the core muscles; including floor routines, full body stretches and fast-paced exercises.

BODYBALANCE™ is a new yoga class for anyone and everyone. It uses a range of movements and motion set to music that will improve your mind, your body and your life leaving you feeling calm and centred.

BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell workout for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps) BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout that burns calories, strengthens and tones.

Cardio Combat: This fiercely energetic class is inspired by martial arts & draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi & mauy thai.  Supported by driving music, you kick, punch & kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

Dynamic Yoga: This ‘vinyasa flow’ class combines elements from various flowing styles, namely Freestyle Fitness Yoga, Ashtanga, and Sun Power yoga. The emphasis is on flowing transitions between postures, breath awareness, strength, flexibility and balance. The class is suitable for all levels of practitioner, from beginner to advanced.

Fitness Yoga: This class is a total body programme that incorporates stretch, strength, relaxation and balance. As well as enhancing overall fitness and stress management the class improves posture, self-awareness and confidence. The combination of flowing moves and static poses can be taught in many different levels, thereby making the class suitable to all age ranges and abilities."

Forest Yoga: Is a modern system that develops strength, stamina and flexibility. Sequenced with reference to sports science and biomechanics, Forrest Yoga accelerates student's progress at all levels/experience while allowing for those working with injuries or health issues. Each class is unique, challenging and fun.

GRIT™ Cardio is a 30 minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increase speed and maximize calorie burn.

GRIT™ Plyo is a 30 minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) plyometric-based workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete.

GRIT™ Strength is a 30 minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses a barbell, weight plates and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

Hi-Lo Aerobics: A cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. A fun and fantastic class that will help you achieve your fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

Kettlebells: Kettlebells look like shot puts with handles. They offer unparalleled levels of physical conditioning and are becoming the choice for many celebrities due to their fast results. Your body moves in 3 dimensions like nature intended. This class tones every muscle getting RESISTANCE plus CORE plus CARDIO and you’ll burn just as many calories as going for a run.

MetaPWR: MetaPWR is a 30 minute Hiit workout in a circuits format from the creators of Metafit. Using equipment such as Battle Ropes, Med Balls, Power Bags and Kettlebells - it is the ultimate power workout! A huge calorie and fat burner, this class is tough, challenging and not for the faint hearted.

Pilates: A series of controlled movements that engage the mind & body in developing strong flexible muscles without adding bulk. Emphasis is placed on developing deep torso strength and flexibility to ensure proper posture and reduce risk of injury. A cross between Tai Chi & Yoga.

Power Yoga: Based on the principles and practice of Ashtanga yoga, power yoga is a total body workout combining strength, flexibility, balance, relaxation, and awareness.

Pump & Tone:  The weights class that builds strength, tones your body & pushes you to the limit every time – be strong.  This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts & curls.  Great music & your choice of weight, inspires yu to get the results you come for - & fast!

Spin Cycling: Give your heart, lungs and major muscle groups a workout with this energetic cycling class. You set the resistance and speed to suit you; so the workout is suitable for all levels. Some classes may include some additional floor work emphasising the abdominals and back muscles that are essential for core strength and posture.

Yoga with Sally: New to Yoga; Not done it for ages; Wondering: Don’t you have to be flexible? What’s it all about? Ujaii breath-what’s that? Down-dog? Beginners Yoga with Sally will replace the fear of the unknown. All you need is an open mind.

Zumba: The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.
