Background

I work at the Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU), as a Clinical Trials Data Manager, assisting trials in both Newcastle and the hub at The James Cook University Hospital. This role involves working with Chief Investigators, trial teams, database providers and others to ensure the smooth running of all the data aspects of trials. 

I am currently working on:

PROACT - Can we prevent chemotherapy-related heart damage in patients with breast cancer?

OACS-1, OACS-2, OACS-3

TACTIC - Can we prevent immune cell ageing in patients with coronary heart disease?

UK Mini Mitral - Minimally invasive thoracoscopically-guided right minithoracotomy versus conventional sternotomy for mitral valve repair: a multicentre randomised controlled trial.


I have previously worked on:

SEED - Supporting excellence in end of life care in Dementia via individual care plans

LiTEFORM - A randomised controlled trial of the clinical and cost effectiveness of Low Level Laser in the Management of Oral Mucositis in Head and Neck Cancer irradiation
