CONEXS Summer School - Analysing X-ray Spectroscopy

The Collaborative Network for X-ray Spectroscopy (CONEXS) is an EPSRC-funded network which aims to establish stronger links between experiment and theory in X-ray spectroscopy.

Date/Time: 10-12 September 2019, 09:00-17:00

Venue: Barbara Strang Teaching Centre, Newcastle University

As part of the CONEXS project, a series of summer schools will be held at Newcastle University and the Diamond Light Source in Oxfordshire, in order to disseminate the findings of CONEXS to a new generation of researchers.

The 2019 CONEXS Summer School will focus on analysis techniques for the near-edge structure of X-ray absorption spectra, covering FDMNES and CP2K. It will include introductory lectures starting from graduate level and practical workshops.

All are welcome to attend, although priority will be given to PhD students and postdocs. Accommodation will be provided free of charge.

If you have any questions please contact CONEXS Project Coordinator Faye Harland.
