Pints, pubs and public lectures

Newcastle University academics will share their research with pub punters as part of the Pint of Science festival.

Pint of Science is a non-profit organisation bringing brilliant scientists to your local pub to discuss their latest research with you.

Academics from across the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences will be delivering talks in a pub near you.

Making science accessible

The festival offers a fantastic opportunity for the public to meet local academics who share a common interest in science and the world around us.

You don't need any prior knowledge. This is your chance to meet and have a drink with academics working at the cutting edge of science.

That's all while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere in some of the best pubs in Newcastle upon Tyne.
