Research
Research summary
Using concepts from community, ecosystem and network ecology, my research focuses on understanding how and why ecosystems respond to environmental change. Using primary and secondary empirical data from experiments and field sampling, as well as simulated data from theoretical models, I develop and implement analyses to investigate ecological networks from local to global scales.
Grants and awards
- GW4 DTP Studentship (2015-2019)
- British Hydrological Society Scholarship (2014-2015)
- WA Cadbury Award (2014)
Teaching
I currently contribute towards the following undergraduate modules:
- BIO3040 Current Research in Ecology
- BIO2032 Residential Field Course (Kielder Forest)
