My PhD Supervisors are Dr Tom Smulders based in the Institute of Neuroscience in the Medical Faculty at Newcastle, and Dr Tim Boswell and Dr Jonathan Guy from the Animal Sciences group. My research is focused on laying hens and the development of lifetime animal welfare assessment tools using novel physiological measures of cumulative chronic stress.
