The Efficient Vineyard Project

The Efficient Vineyard project: This is a 4 year, US$4M USDA-funded project through the Specialty Crop Research Initiative to investigate novel ways to incorporate sensor technology and spatial decision making into US vineyards. The overall program is led by Cornell University with Newcastle University leading on spatial data technologies.  It will fund two PhD candidates and fieldwork activities in the US to the value of £330,000.
