School Manager



I have been in the role of School Manager for the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences since January 2017.


My first role was as a Recruitment Consultant at Office Angels but I left in 2004 to take up my first post in HE in the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences on the PGCE programme. Since then my roles have included Deputy School Manager of Education, Communication and Language Sciences and School Manager for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a member of the School Executive Team I work to support senior management in developing the School's strategy, setting and monitoring targets, and ensuring the future sustainability, growth and direction of the School.

The role  has overall management responsibility for approximately 50 professional support staff covering a number of functional areas across the School and the two University Farms.
