Staff Profile

Louisa Craigs

Animal Research Technician

Background

I have been working for the University at Cockle Park Farm since August 2014.

Previous to this I worked at Kirkley Hall Farm, day to day animal husbandry with pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Limousin herds plus the small mule ewe flock. I have also had vast experience working with horses at eventing yards or racing yards. Horses remain a big part of my life, most of my time away from work is spent training and competing.

As a livestock technician at Cockle Park Farm, I primarily offer support of all livestock projects taking place at the farm, making sure the welfare of all animals on trial are kept to a high standard.
