An investment in data expertise

The £30m centre is funded with £15m from UK Government and £15m from Newcastle University. We are:

  • addressing the availability shortage of data skills in the UK
  • transferring practical data skills into the workforce of private and public sector organisation
  • empowering organisations to gain insights from their data to:
    • optimise existing operations and create efficiencies
    • launch new products and services
  • opening access to a vibrant data ecosystem
