Our city and campus location

Located in the North East of England, Newcastle is a safe, vibrant, exciting and internationally focussed city. It was ranked by QS as a top 10 UK student city. It has a reputation for being one of the UK’s most affordable cities. It’s easy to see why we’re home to more than 28,000 students from over 140 different countries.

From our beautiful compact city-centre campus, explore the thriving multicultural arts and culture scene. Discover the history, shopping and sport that are so integral to our identity. Or leave the city behind for a coastline of award-winning beaches and beautiful countryside. We really have something for everyone.

We have an international airport and regular train services to London (three hours) and Edinburgh (less than two). You’ll also be well placed to explore the rest of the UK, Europe and beyond.
