BBSRC Case Award PhD in Epidemiology/ Health Research: understanding the determinants of age-related changes in the health of older people

EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) Studentship Awards (Physical Geography)


100% of tuition fees at the UK/EU rate will be paid and an annual maintenance grant equivalent to the National Minimum Doctoral Stipend (for 2019/20 this is £15,009).

A research training support grant is available to support fieldwork and associated costs (eg travel and subsistence for conferences, workshops etc.)

PhD studentship - Pre-clinical models to study the immune - oncology of hepatocellular carcinoma


The award covers fees for 4 years and a stipend of £19,000 per year. Running expenses are £13,500 for 3 years and £6,750 for the 4th year, when the student will have the final 6 months for writing up their thesis.
