Aims

1.       To heighten awareness of modern Chinese drama among Chinese postgraduate students and home undergraduate students of Chinese;
2.       Enhancement of translation skills, particularly with regard to colloquial, everyday language, something which students do not always have easy access to in the academic environment;
3.       Involvement in international professional collaboration in translation, editing and production of the drama;
4.       Enhancement of language skills, and introduction and enhancement of public speaking skills;
5.       Public performance or reading, and if possible publication of the translated drama.

Outline Of Syllabus
