Newcastle University London is a new campus providing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The new campus will open in September 2015 and will first focus on business courses. The new initiative will attract students from all over the world to study a quality-assured degree from Newcastle.
Newcastle University and INTO
Our London campus is a joint venture with INTO University Partnerships Limited, the education partnering organisation. It will operate out of INTO’s Middlesex Street premises in Central London. It builds on our existing relationship with INTO. We have an established international student centre on the Newcastle campus, home to 800 students
Having a base in one of the most influential cities in the world will help reinforce Newcastle University’s reputation for innovation and academic excellence.
This is the latest expansion for us. We already have a major presence in Singapore and a branch campus for medicine in Malaysia. Our Malaysian camp – which graduated its first cohort of doctors this July.
Professor Chris Brink, Vice-Chancellor at Newcastle University, said:

London Campus facilities
There will be teaching and support facilities for 1,200 students. Specific courses aimed at international students will be on offer. There will also be opportunities for Newcastle-based students to undertake projects in the capital.
The London campus will:
- provide students and staff with increased links to government and national and international businesses based in London
- house a new Research Hub
- allow the University to improve its programme of alumni and stakeholder events
- enhance guest lecture and internship programmes
The facilities include:
- two large lecture theatres
- 25 teaching and seminar rooms
- a student resources and library room
- office space
- Student support staff, including a dedicated Student Wellbeing Adviser
- remote access to the University’s award-winning Robinson Library in Newcastle
