You’ll receive arrival information by email with everything you need to know before arriving in Newcastle. This includes arrival dates and information on completing your registration on campus.

Provisionally registering

We’ll ask you to provisionally register online before arriving at Newcastle University. This will save you time when you get to the University.

You’ll receive registration instructions by email around six weeks before your course starts. To receive this information, you need to accept your unconditional offer.

If you’re an INTO Newcastle University student, you’ll receive registration instructions after you’ve completed your INTO course.

The registration email will also tell you how to access your University email account.

Don’t worry if you can’t register online. You can do this on campus when you arrive.

International and EU students

Before you leave, you might be invited to a pre-departure event run by our staff, either in your country or online.

Once you're here, you can join our International Welcome is a programme of events designed to help you settle into life at Newcastle.

You can find out more on our pre-arrival website, as well as information about our Airport Meet and Greet Service.

If you're planning to arrive early, our pre-arrival website has information about Early Arrival Activities.

It also tells you what you can expect in the first week, including Postgraduate social events and completing registration.

Paying your tuition fees

As part of the registration process you will be asked to pay your tuition fees. There is more information about how to do this on our pre-arrival website.

You can get a 2% discount off your annual tuition fees if you pay them in full before the end of Registration Week.

UK/EU students registering for an eligible taught postgraduate course with a September start date can pay for their annual tuition fees in six instalments. Read more about our tuition fee instalment scheme.
