I chose Newcastle because of its reputation and esteemed lecturers. The city itself is also incredible and I felt at home.
Best thing about your course
What I like most is the diversity of the modules. The status of lecturers in their respective fields is important.
The community is friendly. The city is diverse with plenty to do and the Students Union is excellent.
It offers many services and focuses on making sure everyone has their voice heard.
Newcastle is a friendly, vibrant, safe and usually sunny place. It’s a second home for me.
Clubs and societies at Newcastle
There’s a huge range of clubs and societies to join, both for hobbies and for courses. For example on PsychoSoc we went on trips abroad, days out, socials and meals as well as the end of year ball.
It’s the perfect way to meet new people.
Living in Newcastle
I live in the city centre, just five minutes from town and ten from campus.
Choosing the right letting agent was the hardest, after that finding a place to live was easy.
