In response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Newcastle University is not delivering any face-to-face CPD programmes before January 2021. If you are interested in studying any of our modules online, contact the CPD Unit for advice.

About the Professional Development Unit (PDU)

The Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering has invested in a Professional Development Unit that supports CPD activity.

We give you a single point of contact so that you can access information and help promptly. Please contact us if you require further information about the programme of courses or bespoke options.

We are also happy to advise on local accommodation, methods of payment and any other practical details associated with the CPD course you are attending.

Location/Venue

The majority of courses are held on the University campus

The campus is conveniently situated in Newcastle's compact city centre and can be easily reached from both the railway station and airport using the city's Metro system. There is an excellent range of hotels within walking distance of the campus and discounts have been negotiated for delegates attending the courses.

The Unit is situated on the second floor of the Drummond Building within the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.
