Background

Background

I have a PhD in Psychology from Newcastle University (2013); my area of interest was in exploring social-cognitive abilities in children with Williams syndrome and autism. Since graduating from my PhD, I worked on the Pre-Trial Autism Communication Trial Follow-Up (PACT) and went on to teach Psychology at Durham University 2014-16. In 2016/17 I completed the Ambitious Futures Graduate Trainee Scheme at Newcastle University and have held the post of Research Coordinator in SAgE since September 2017. Having had a premature baby in 2017, I am very interested in working on support for families of children who have spent time on the SCBU and would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to get involved.
