Primary STEM Day

The day will start off with a bang with our Story of Earth show, followed by interactive science demonstrations and a STEM Trail with tasks and puzzles to complete around campus.

Date/Time: Wednesday 13 March 2019, 10:00 - 14:30

Venue: Newcastle University

As part of our STEM Festival, we will be hosting our second Primary STEM Day.

The event will be held on the Wednesday 13 March at Newcastle University. The day will start off with a bang with our Story of Earth show, followed by a morning of interactive science demonstrations, including our Street Scientists. This will be in a speed dating format, with children in groups of 10 moving around different stations every 15 minutes to see a variety of displays and activities. The afternoon will consist of a STEM Trail in which the children will complete tasks and solve puzzles to find clues around campus, as well as a lab session.

We are limiting spaces to 30 year 6 students per school. Groups will be split into three groups of 10 so three members of staff or parents must also attend.

The event is now fully booked but we welcome registrations for reserve spaces.
