STEM Fest 2018

From the 2nd to 7th July we will be holding a week of exciting STEM activities for all ages.

SAgE Outreach - STEM Fest
SAgE Outreach - Engineering Day
Monday 2nd July

The aim of the day is to give students a better insight into the different types of engineering, what an engineer actually does and how they can become one.

SAgE Outreach- Primary STEM Day
Thursday 5th July

The day will start off with a bang with our Story of Earth show, followed by interactive science demonstrations and a STEM Trail around campus.

Where could a Chemistry A Level take you?
Friday 6th July

Allow year 12 students to discover the oportunities Chemistry can hold with taster sessions and Q&As with students and academics.

Thourought the week we have talks and public lectures from some of the leading experts and most engaging speakers from various STEM fields.

Tuesday 3rd July

In collaboration with the Great North Museum: Hancock, we're holding a free event for Cub Scouts and Brownie groups to come along and take part in activities to achieve their Science Badge.

Saturday 7th July

We're rounding off the week with a fun-filled day, open to all. We're inviting you to bring your friends and family along to campus to experience the exciting world of STEM.
