About Street Science

Our Street Scientists are a team of enthusiastic students who are specialists in Science Busking. We bring science to life through short interactive demonstrations which are inspiring as well as entertaining. Our aim is to increase enthusiasm and public understanding of science, as well as breaking the stereotypes that surround the subject, and spark an interest of students at a young age to potentially influence a future in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths).

About the Role

Our STEM workshops are becoming more and more popular with schools and we need more enthusiastic students to join us to meet this demand.

You don’t have to be studying a scientific degree to become part of the Team, as long as you have an interest in the subject and can communicate well to lots of different people then we’re keen to hear from you.

The majority of our workshops are delivered to primary aged children so as long as you have a GCSE level knowledge of science you won't need anything more advanced. We also provide full training beforehand and ensure you are happy with the content of our workshops and demonstrations before you are expected to deliver anything.
