On Campus Events

We are now taking bookings for the following events taking place over the coming months.

Our events range from subject tasters designed to inform and inspire young people about specific subjects that they are able to study at university, to campus tours and talks about general student life.

To book places on any event follow the web links that are detailed in each specific event description below.

Key Outcomes

All of our activities are designed to support schools and colleges with the delivery of Gatsby Benchmarks, the Career Development Institute Framework and the National Curriculum.

  • Year 7 UniVenture

    Bring your Year 7 pupils on an adventure to Newcastle University!

    Date/Time: 26 & 28 February 2019, 10 & June 2019

  • Advancing Access Virtual Conference for Teachers (Online)

    A free online CPD conference hosted by The Advancing Access project; an initiative of the 24 Russell Group universities.

  • Year 12 Medicine and Dentistry (MaD) Days

    An opportunity for Year 12 students to come to Newcastle University campus and explore the exciting world of Medicine or Dentistry.

  • Year 6 University Safari

    A chance for you to bring a group of Year 6 pupils on to Newcastle University campus for the day!

  • Year 13 Head Start to HE

    An on-campus event for Year 13/final year college students to help them prepare for the transition to university.

  • Year 5 Campus Explorers (In-School)

    Campus Explorers is an interactive school-based event for Year 5 pupils and allows Newcastle University to bring its virtual campus map into the classroom. Pupils can choose a route around campus and take part in fun games and activities relating to the buildings they visit!

  • The Real Deal Parent and Carer Event

    The Real Deal event can help you support your child in the decisions they will have to make, providing relevant information about the application process, financial support and how your child can get the most out of university.
